Well hello there, I’m Jen, and thanks for stopping by hue stories. A little about me – I love colour. I especially love that if used correctly, it can completely transform a space and easily evoke moods and memories.
As far back as I can remember, I have had a passion for all things “home.” From choosing colours for my childhood bedroom (yellow walls with rainbows and shooting stars wallpaper – don’t judge I was 7), playing “house” by constantly moving my bedroom furniture, and destroying the family SEARS catalogue to make the “original” construction paper mood board, I’ve always loved creating spaces for myself and others.
I also love helping others choose colours – whether for walls, furniture, fixed finishes or decor items. And, after lots of positive feedback and encouragement from those I’ve helped, I’ve finally started my own ‘colourful’ journey.
More specifically, I started to hone my skill and get some formal training. I loved it so much, I took more courses, and studied more. This, in turn, led me to help more people (but this time with a solid understanding of the basis of what I intuitively seemed to know). Now, filled to the brim with ideas, I’m excited to share the knowledge, insights and lessons that I have learned.
